As a manager for Demos’ Steak and Spaghetti House you will receive:
  • Health and Dental Insurance
    Your enrollment for health insurance will commence once you have successfully completed your management training. The company pays the bulk of your premium and your share is determined by the number of dependents you have.
  • Meals
    While at work, your meals are free. We encourage you to move through the menu to become familiar with all of our items. You may also receive free meals with your family while off duty, with certain limitations.
  • Manager’s Schedule
    Your training period will be 6 days per week. After initial training is completed, the average work week is 50 – 55 hours in a 5 day work week.
  • Performance-based Bonuses
    Bonuses are dependent on your impact, not seniority. Assistant managers participate in quarterly bonuses at the discretion of the GM and KM. The GM, KM, and AGM participate in monthly bonuses.
  • Organized Environment
    Our whole team is fanatical about organization. You never have to worry about finding something you need in a rush.
  • Freedom to Focus on Sales – Not Costs
    We believe accountants and bookkeepers do what they do best and restaurant managers do what they do best. We do not do weekly labor sheets or weekly inventories. We outsource liquor control inventories. Our system is designed to focus on what is best for the customer.
  • Incentive Savings Program
    After a manager has completed one year of continuous service, he/she may participate in the INCENTIVE SAVINGS PROGRAM. The company will contribute for your IRA account an amount of 1/2 of your contribution up to a maximum of $250 - $1000, depending upon your certification and position.

    You are not a number. Every manager gets to work with a Demos. Your talents, abilities, and opportunities are recognized by the owners and operators.
  • Professional Growth Opportunities
    Your growth is dependent on you – not who you know. Our system is designed to let you know what you have to achieve to move to the next level. When you are ready to move forward, all you have to do is evaluate yourself based on the criteria provided to you. You simply bring your evaluation to the GM who will agree with you or show you the areas in which you need to improve to get to the next level.
  • Competitive Pay
    We pay based on our criteria system. Your starting pay is dependent on your experience and our belief that you will reach the level of pay in a reasonable amount of time. Each person will be discussed on an individual basis using the criteria as a guide.
