Demos' is a Finalist for the Good Neighbor Award offered by the National Restaurant Association (can also go under awards)

For four years, five—unit Demos' Restaurant has been all about the Duck Derby. As a primary fundraiser for the Child Advocacy Center of Rutherford and Cannon Counties, the derby is now part of the Demos culture. The Child Advocacy Center provides assistance to child victims of abuse.

"Demos' employees actively sell 'adopted' ducks to customers during "Duck Season. They also sell duck merchandise," said Kristin Demos, a company spokeswoman and derby chair.
